On Wednesday 21st March, Tony (Miss Startup’s Granddad) came into year five to have a talk about Christian symbols and to talk about religious objects that matter to him. One of the symbols was wine and bread, representing Jesus’ body and blood at the Last Supper. Other symbols included fish, candles, and the cross that Jesus was crucified on. Included in the time spent with him, we learnt about his job (a special Eucharistic Minister) Year five had a wonderful time listening about Christianity and the symbolic objects that Christians believe in and respect.
