Following the whole school home learning task to prepare justified viewpoints regarding bed times, a small group of children from each year group were selected to represent their school teams in The Great Debate 2022! On Monday afternoon, having had time to prepare their arguments for and against, the school assembled and each team attempted to convince the rest of the school their justifications were the best. After the very professional presentations were completed and there had been lots of opportunities to ask questions, every pupil was asked to vote. The results were very close as you can see:
1st – St Patrick (200 points)
2nd – St Andrew (140 points)
3rd – St David (130 points)
3rd – St George (130 points)
Congratulations to all of our teams – you were absolutely fantastic…maybe we have a few politicians (or even a Prime Minister!) of the future?
