On Thursday 1st February, the Westfields Junior School Year 6 Football Team travelled to Charles Kingsley’s Primary School for their second match of the season. Despite being a very cold afternoon, the team managed to put on quite a show. At half time, the score was 0-2 to Charles Kingsley’s. Westfields worked very hard in the second half and managed to score 2 goals! The final score was 2-2, with Westfields’ goals being scored by Luke Bird and Jacob Matthews. The match was very close and Westfields were on the verge of winning as they hit the post many times.
