Last week, Year 4 travelled back in time when they visited Ufton Court for their annual residential trip. They had a truly wonderful time trying their hand at traditional Saxon and Viking ways of living; from banqueting in traditional costumes (even eating with their hands!) and re-enacting a battle, to spinning their own wool, grinding flour and even building a fence, it was learning brought to life at its best! The children did Westfields proud, and made the most of every opportunity – it will certainly be a trip for us all to remember in years to come!
