As a group we found out about when Government’s worldwide promised all children the same rights by adopting the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child (1989). We looked at this special book and discussed the rights which are based on what a child needs to survive, grow, participate and fulfil their potential; they apply equally to every child, regardless of who they are, or where they are from. Inspired by this important message, we created a group design and used acrylics to make our masterpiece. Be sure to take a look next time you are in the School Reception area!
